Investigating

We are aware of an issue affecting Competella SaaS that is related to a change in Microsoft Teams calling logic. In some scenarios, agents who leave or transfer a call may receive a Microsoft Teams pop-up "Removed from the call" offering them the option to rejoin the call.

Our investigation indicates that this behavior originates from Microsoft Teams. Specifically, when a participant is removed from a call by Competella SaaS as part of normal call handling, Microsoft Teams may present the removed participant with an option to rejoin the call. There is no indication of a service fault within the Competella SaaS platform itself. Microsoft has been made aware of the behavior, and we are monitoring for any developments that may affect Competella tenants.
The issue has been observed in Microsoft Teams client version 26183.1903.4892.4448, although other versions may also be affected.
Competella SaaS remains operational, and we will continue to provide updates on this page as new information becomes available.
